The unique charm of ball-jointed dolls

Soom dolls are made one by one carefully with taking time for every process.
Due to the nature of the material, which is sensitive to the temperature and humidity of the day, slight differences may occur during the production process.
Even with the same design, all dolls have slightly different shapes and sizes.
We hope you enjoy the natural beauty and value of handmade dolls.

My one and only doll in the world

• Color: Since each piece is made one by one, there may be slight differences. Particularly, it may stand out more if the doll has dark skin color or pearls
• Shape: Since all pieces are made by handwork, bilateral symmetry may not the same. Parts that are intentionally designed to be thin, such as the eyelids, light may be visible.
• Surface: Parting lines, gate marks, fine bubbles, and small dots that occur during the production process are natural characteristics of the dolls. Parts that are not visible when assembled are not subject to defective.

Individuality of eyes, wigs, outfits, and accessories

• Eyes: There may be fine bubbles or slight differences.
• Wig: The length and curl may vary slightly due to hand-styling, and some of the yarn may fall out when first used.
• Outfits and accessories: The pattern, color, and finish may vary depending on the product.

Precautions for a long-lasting beautiful doll

• Yellowing and discoloration: It is natural for the resin material to discolor over time. To slow down discoloration, avoid exposure to light such as direct sunlight and indoor lighting.
• Anti-staining: Wearing the outfit or wig for long periods of time may occur discoloration, so please avoid to do it.
• Caution with chemicals: Be careful when using as washing with chemicals such as thinner or acetone may cause discoloration.
• Elastic string management: If the string becomes loose due to repeated use, reassemble and readjust the length of the string.
• Faceup and blushing management: Faceup and blushing have a yellowing prevention effect, but they can be damaged by frequent handling or joint use.
• Shock prevention: Please be careful of shock as there is a risk of damage.

• If you find a quality problem, please contact our customer center within 7 days of receiving the product, and we will provide a quick free warranty service.

• Please return the product with all components and packaging intact.
• We will do our best to provide the best service even if the warranty period (2 years) ends.

Order Cancellation Guide

If you request an order cancellation within 24 hours of payment, we will refund the full amount of your payment.
Please understand that if you request a cancellation after production has started, production and inventory costs (25% of the order amount) may be incurred due to the nature of make-to-order product.

Cancellation/Return/Exchange Guide

1. Cancellation of orders before payment – All products
Customers can cancel orders before payment. If you wish to cancel, please log in, and check your order through ‘My Account’-‘Orders’, and click the ‘Cancel’ button.

2. Automatic cancellation of orders – All products
Orders that have passed the payment deadline or include out-of-stock products will be automatically canceled.

3. Cancellation of ‘make-to-order products’ – All resin dolls and limited products
Basically all ‘make-to-order products’ cannot be cancelled after 48 hours from the payment date. In the case of layaway payment orders, order cancellation is not accepted after 24 hours from the first payment date. All of SOOM’s resin dolls and most of its outfits, wigs, and optional parts are basically ‘make-to-order products’ that are produced in limited quantities according to the customer’s order request, and production preparations are made after the customer’s payment is confirmed. Therefore, if you cancel an order, a cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the total order amount (inventory handling cost) will be charged.

4. Order cancellation for general products – before shipping
If you wish to cancel an order, you can directly ‘Cancel the order’ in ‘My Account’. If the order cancellation is normally received before SOOM ships the product, no cancellation fee will be charged.

5. Order cancellation for general products – after shipping
If the ordered product has already been shipped before the order cancellation request is received, please note that 25% cancellation fee (inventory handling cost) and shipping and return fees will be charged to the customer upon order cancellation or return.
