We place great importance on environmental protection and are constantly seeking ways to minimize the impact of the products we create on the environment.
In recent years, we have been gradually transitioning some packaging materials that are non-recyclable or single-use to more environmentally friendly and recyclable materials. Additionally, to reduce the environmental impact across all business sectors, we are currently implementing a wide range of initiatives, including the shift to more sustainable raw materials, the use of more sustainable packaging, and making our business more circular.
These actions require more spending than before, but we are determined to fulfill our social responsibility and role in creating a better future and a more inclusive world for future generations. We will continue to increase our investment in sustainable initiatives every year.
Every member of SOOM uses resources only as necessary and is committed to minimizing waste in all processes.
In the office, we minimize email and document printing to reduce unnecessary paper prints. Product brochures are replaced with electronic documents, and printed materials are designed to be smaller and made from paper-based materials. Packaging uses recycled paper, and unnecessary processes like coating are avoided unless absolutely necessary. Single-use plastic packaging is replaced with reusable zipper bags or pouches made from recycled cotton.
We are committed to contributing to sustainable, long-term growth for environmental protection and engaging in positive, circular actions that set a good example. Together with you, we will continue to nurture this initiative.
